| | I'm glad Much Music is still putting out Muchdance CD's. After the incredible "Muchdance 2007", I had high expectations for this one, and Much Music filled those expectations by compiling another CD of the best dance hits of the year.
1. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - Lovestoned/I Think She Knows [Radio Edit]: My favorite song from Justin's otherwise overrated album. (#17 'Billboard Hot 100' hit)
2. HILARY DUFF - Stranger: This has a middle-eastern feel to it. It's one of her few tolerable songs. It's actually pretty good. (#97 'Billboard Hot 100' hit)
3. NELLY FURTADO f. MISSY ELLIOT - Do It: Missy's not listed anywhere on the CD, but this CD DOES contain the version with Missy's rap. This a great song, regardless. Samples "Acidjazzed Evening" by Janne Suni, and "Block Party" [ringtone] by Timbaland. (#88 'Billboard Hot 100' hit)
4. KAT DELUNA f. ELEPHANT MAN - Whine Up: Not bad. I didn't like this song at first, but now it's grown on me a bit. (#29 'Billboard Hot 100' hit)
5. WILL.I.AM - I Got It From My Mama: Another sell-out song from Will. The beat is ok, but it's a stupid song. Samples music from Magazine 60. (#31 'Billboard Hot 100' hit)
6. SEAN KINGSTON - Beautiful Girls: He can't sing, but thanks to a catchy beat, and the "Stand By Me" sample, this song is really good. samples "Stand By Me" By Ben E. King. (#1 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
7. GWEN STEFANI f. DAMIEN MARLEY - Now That You Got It [Remix] **Just like track #3, Damien is not listed anywhere on the CD, but this is the remix that features him. The word remix doesn't even appear next to the song. The music is also slightly different from the album version, as this remix one has reggae elements added on to it. This is a great song, despite it being a flop.
8. BELLY f. GINUWINE - Pressure: This song's pretty good. I really like Ginuwine. I wish Timbaland would give him some attention again.
9. FERGIE f. SEAN KINGSTON - Personal ['Big Girls' Remix]: Good, but not as good as the regular thanks to Sean Kingston and his terrible voice. I like the music though. (#1 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
10. TIMBALAND f. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE & NELLY FURTADO - Give it To Me: Great song. I'm kind of sick of it though. (#1 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
11. T-PAIN f. YUNG JOC - Buy U A Drank: Another bland offering from Mr. auto-tone. I'm not a fan. (#1 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
12. RIHANNA f. JAY Z - Umbrella: The most popular song of the year. I'm glad it's included on here. (#1 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
13. KANYE WEST - Can't Tell Me Nothing: This isn't really a danceable, so it's not really fitting on this album. (#41 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
14. 50 CENT - Amusement Park: The beat is ok at best. I think 50's heydey is almost over, hence why this song wasn't a big hit.
15. CHRISTINA AGUILERA - Candyman: A salute to the Andrews sisters "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". I love how the song is so innocent sounding but the lyrics are subtly dirty. It's a lot of fun. (#25 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
16. AVRIL LAVIGNE f. LIL MAMA - Girlfriend [Dr. Luke Remix f. Lil Mama]: Lil' Mama can RAP. She's really good. I like how the hand-clap beat goes throughout the whole song. (#1 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
17. TIGA - You Gonna Want Me: The danciest song on the album. Not bad, but forgettable.
18. P!NK - U + Ur Hand (Bimbo Jones Remix) - Pink's comeback hit. I'm so glad that this version is on here! This remix always gets played at the clubs, I'm happy to see it available on the CD. (#9 Billboard Hot 100 Hit)
