|  | Most fun game i have ever played no joke. SO SO SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST. For shore. Never once was i bored and i played it twice.
I'd have to recommend KH2 more than the original KH because i found that in KH2 the contols were better,music didnt make your ears bleed,and the plot didnt bore you to tears. But if you have some desire to play the first KH i recommend that you play it first just because if you play KH2 first, your spoiled with all the good controls and such and its hard to get into the first game. And even though i didnt play the whole first game(only played 2 hrs lol), i felt as though i had as there are alot of flashbacks and references to it.
And just so you know the games pretty much one big movie. Be prepared for an abudance of cutscenes and lots of dialogue between characters. But for me thats what made it interesting. You feel as if you truely know the characters by heart. I even cried when one of the characters died SO SAD.
Oh and it is ever such a cheesy game some moments...omg so funny. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and want to experience the goodnes that is KH2 all over agian.

| | I don't know what these people are talking about when they are saying that its the same as the first one blah blah blah ... hmm if playing roxas (soras nobody) in the begining and having brand new worlds (lion king, mulan etc) AND new creatures (nobodys)is just like playing the first one then so be it haha you know it does have to have some qualities of the first one to be a sequal... derrr.. haha n e ways as you can tell I am crazy for these games... if I was to recommend one over the other it would be hard but I would say that the second one is top gaming... I love the new idea of having reaction commands they help out alot (especially when it comes to sephiroth)...Also the intoduction to Sora and Kairi's nobody who I think are way cute!! was an awesome touch...Also they made traveling in the gummi ship alot more fun XD and less confusing when it comes to building new ones... well I have rambled on enough I would Defiantely recommend this game for buying and playing over and over and over thank you for your time

| | Like a lot of people I was excited about the thought of playing Kingdom Hearts 2. However, dispite how long it took to make, I found the story not very well thought out. Also, it feels a lot shorter then the first one, not to mention easier. Part of the fun of the first Kingdom Hearts was going around beating all the Disney Villians, this game doesnt really encorperate that. They also take you back to the same worlds you went to before, Yes they added the Lion King, Mulan and Tron but even in the worlds you go 3 screens and your at the boss, or a sub-boss then you go back 3 screens and your at the real boss. If you havnt played the first Kingdom Hearts, I recomend playing it, as it has a very well thought out story, and if it hooks you then rent this game first and try it before you buy it.
| | | The series has been around sometime now and has always had a place in my heart. I took a lot of waiting.....and this is it. I just feels like playing the old one over, for 59.99. This game is horribly OVERRATED. Overall thought, it may be short but it's a fun way throught. With good graphics and high production value it;s still worth your money. The classic Disney chracters add a great element aswell. Overrated, but still good. 4 stars!

| | | All I have to say is that, unlike Disney sequels, this game surpasses the original in almost every single way. The story is extremely captivating and the worlds and locations of various Disney worlds are great. In terms of gameplay, you just can't seem to stop. You are given brand new ways to fight enemies, including merging with other characters (such as Mulan, Jack Sparrow and Auron)and activating drives, which allowes Sora to weild two keyblades and attack enemies in different ways. Reaction commands also allow new ways to attack enemies. Unlike the first game, which left you wandering around the worlds without any clue of what you were supposed to be doing, KHII gives you a fully interactive atmosphere with plenty of people to talk to. The boss fights, while mostly easy (although they do get extremely hard near the end), are actually FUN to play and are not as frustrating as the ones in the first game (Hydra and Axel are good examples). The whole atmosphere is very enjoyable. The game also allowes you to visit various worlds from Disney and fight along with some characters from their movies, such as Aladdin, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Tron and Pirates of the Carribean. Ignore the whole Disney theme, even if you enjoy more mature games, you'll be sure to have a blast playing this. Excpect to put around 30 hours into it. 9.8/10
