Great

Awsome and something you can listen to over and over again!
4 out of 5 stars.
To tell you the truth, I haven't even gotten the soundtrack yet (I desperately want it for Christmas!)and I have lsitened to the soundtrack songs and thought what an awesome mix of funkytown and country songs! It's a great Cd and I think all you shrek luvas out there should go get it and if I don't there will be some trouble where I live!

Bad Seed.
3 out of 5 stars.
Frankly, this soundtrack confuses me.
It shows some shining moments with the Eels, Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Pete Yorn. However, just as you think that you might be okay, comes Lipps Inc horrible rendition of Funkytown, Frou Frou dissapoints with "holding out for a hero" and the Jennifer Sauners bonus track almost makes me a little bit sick.
But over all, this soundtrack is appealing to many generations. Tolerable, but they've come as close as they can to mixing good and bad.

la fin est bof

C'est bon, mais pas en partie seulement... J'écoutais tout simplement l'album l'autre jour et rendu au trois dernière chanson j'ai changé de disque parce que ça me tapais sur les nerfs... La fée maraine qui chante là...

Good enough for the car!
5 out of 5 stars.
Jennifer Saunders, Jennifer Saunders, Jennifer Saunders... So nice that they added the songs from the movie. She is so talented, and the songs are brilliant. Also, gotta love "Accidentally in love" I don't care how old I am thids CD is so much fun.

Captures the essence of the movie

I love this soundtrack! I felt it was very representative of the movie. It was a wonderfully eclectic compilation of songs that just make you feel good. The opening tune by the Counting Crows, which also opened the movie, is infectious rock. I also really enjoyed the remake of "Funkytown" and the songs from the movie.

Jennifer Saunders is remarkably talented. I love her version of "Holding Out for a Hero" and who can't smile at the Disney-parody "The Fairy Godmother Song"? The line about the bichon frise cracks me up every time!
