Editorial Reviews:
Thanks in large part to their outlandish make-up, Detroit's Insane Clown Posse are generally regarded as a joke band. It's a reputation they're sure to explode with the brilliantly conceived and superbly produced The Wraith: Shangri-La. Their sixth (and possibly final) album, it's intended as a summary and clarification of all they've done before. A concept album of sorts, it admits that, for all their profanity and celebration of bloody murder, the Posse are in fact followers of God ("We're not sorry if we tricked you", they sneer during the closing "The Unveiling"). But that's not to say The Wraith ever descends to smug, Stryper-like platitudes. Far from it--the Posse have their own singular way of entering heaven.

With a crazy ring-master introducing the tracks, the Posse extol the virtues of weed, cheap wine, casual violence and premature death in some of the funniest raps ever, the notion presumably being that eternal grace comes to those who stay true to themselves. This is comedy horror at its finest, backed by a thrilling collage of warped funk, twisted orchestrations and occasional bursts of crushing metal. One disappointment—"Bitch Slappaz", perhaps the most hilariously beastly of their raps, appears in the CD booklet but not on the CD itself. It's a minor niggle--The Wraith is an instant classic. --Dominic Wills

Custom Reviews:
8.8/10 Excellent Crap as it is called
4 out of 5 stars.
Now, dont get me wrong, ICP is tha sht, but when you say your an icp fan it dont come without critizism. I mean, people that dress up like clowns and spray Faygo for a living, but it is actually good music. In earlier years, ICP was more just kill bitch whore... but this album, the sixth jokers card, shows a bit of maturity, if only a bit.

1 Walk Into The Light 6.9/10
A kind of extended intro that explains the title and then goes into a slow song, listen to when u get the cd, but then it can be skipped.

2 Welcome To The Show 9/10
A great way to start the album off, a good steady beat and not-too harsh lyrics.

3 Get Ya Wicked On 7.5/10
A short song, and its probably a better thing, but the chorus is one that can be chanted in concert to good effect.

4 Murder Rap 9/10
This song is definatly one to put repeat on your CD player, the lyrics are covered from Above The Law's Murder Rap, but it has a modified beat and a bettered chorus.

5 Birthday Bitches 7/10
This is old skool ICP, if only for a short 1:18 piece, but it is a good reflection of how they have evolved to their music today.

6 Blaaam!!! 9.5/10
Excellent song about a genie and how getting everything you want isnt quite as fulfilling as it is thought to be.

7 It Rains Diamonds 9.9/10
My second favorite song, a good simple beat but with good lyrics and a great chorus makes this a stand out song on the album. And the second song that kicks in with two minutes left is funny, Btch Slap.

8 The Staleness 6.5/10
My least favorite song of the album, the chorus suggests it is a continuation of the I Stab People songs with the repeats of STAB STAB STAB.

9 Hell's Forcast 8.5/10
A freaky song about everyone being killed and it rains blood and stuff... but it is a good song still.

10 Juggalo Homies 8/10
A good song about friends and stuff. A good one if ur in the mood for a lighter song, but still ICP.

11 Ain't Yo Bidness 8/10
A good song with a minute song at the end. the other song is better.

12 We Belong 9/10
A good beat with lyrics about the different lives that people have and struggle with.

13 Cotton Candy & Popsicles 7/10
An ok song but i dont like it, it is a continue of an earlier song called Cotton Candy.

14 Crossing The Bridge 10/10
My favorite song, this song really shows ICP's maturity, with lyrics about how they went wrong in life and how wrong the world went.

15 The Raven's Mirror 8.5/10
A good song where Violent J is in a coffin buried in the ground.

16 The Wraith 7.5/10
A slow song, the chorus is what gives this song it's higher rating.

17 The Unveiling 8/10
A good progressive song about religion and how everything is god, the carnival, the gatherings, dark lotus, and stuff.. its a pretty good song to end the album with.

There are not many great stand out songs.. but someone can be very tempted to give every song 10/10, but 8/10 and 9/10 is mainly wut this album brings, so instead of a bad album with a few peaks, it keeps up a steady flow of good music that keeps you listening, so i hope this review helps you to buy this album, also.. if you like ICP, check out The Great Milenko, or Hell's Pit...
ENJOY ;)

KICK ASS!!!

An amazing ending to the saga of the 6 Joker's Cards
5 out of 5 stars.
This may very well be the most amazing album I've ever heard. Mike P. did an incredible job on the music, possibly better than anything Mike Clark ever did. The songs range from humorous clown raps to the wicked s**t to meaninful songs about the duo's journey to Shangri-La. Almost everything about this album is solid gold. The only problem I have is how the Juggalos reacted to it. Their are some who hate it and believe it is the worst ICP has ever done. And then there are those who like it. However, the latter group acts like they had seen the whole "God" thing coming. Quit fooling yourselves, please. There never were any hidden messages about God in the songs. J and Shaggy have just been trying to tell a story, leaving death as the ultimate ending. As you all know, there are two paths after death: heaven and hell. This album brings forth the path to Shangri-La, but that isn't it. Hell's Pit is going to drop in a few months, and it'll be back to the wicked s*** all over again. So everyone who thinks ICP turned into a bunch of pussies after this album dropped, you're dead wrong. However, you can't blame J and Shags for trying to give off some good vibes. They don't always want to be seen as the psycho clowns that they make themselves out to be.

The most memorable tracks on this album are probably Walk Into Thy Light, Welcome To Thy Show, It's Raining Diamonds, Ain't Yo Bidness, Homies, Crossing Thy Bridge, and Thy Unveiling.

ICP has done an awesome job with The Wraith, and I'm expecting even better from Hell's Pit.

Much Clown luv, peace out.

WAITIN 4 THE PIT
5 out of 5 stars.
Since the beginning juggalos rely heavily on icp 2 release something new 2 give each juggalos lives a meaning without them after all six we aint nothing.
I truly believed shangrila was it.
supposedly bizzar bizzar was it (juggalos felt screwed over an knew without ICP how was one suppose 2 go on?)
So the 2 had 2 end it completely some how right!
The double Wraith ending.

On first hearing I noticed each song 2 end quickly so it could flow str8 2 the point (them telling us all that the carnivall is god and may all of us find him).iM BOTHERED BY THE FACT THAT VIOLENT j's explination of the carnival changed from time 2 time(go over 2 halls of illusions.com and ull see whut im saying) Completely forgetting that J said in Welcome to thy show song that 'if u really wanna see the devils exsibit the sh*8 is called hells pit run out and get it'The final track leaves u emotionally dry and stale thinking after all that now what am I spose 2 do!

I played it over an over till i got bored of it
now waitin for the real ending WAITIN ON THE PIT

Pathetic
1 out of 5 stars.
These two low-lifes are just a bunch of misfits without fathers. The two clowns are angry is their songs since mom never hugged them. "OooH I'm gonna kill people while rapping" Their whole approach sucks and doesn't make any sense. ICP should go back to the circus and maybe play for the Carneys (which are probably their long lost fathers)
